Description
Upside Engineering Ltd. (Upside) currently has opportunities for two Intermediate Project or Facilities Engineers to join our team of professionals for a three month contract, with a possible three month extension working on site in northern Alberta. Fly in / fly out, camp accommodations with a 4 - 3 shift rotation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Obtain scope of work from facility engineers and build project deliverable checklist to establish front end engineering requirements;
  • Organize meetings with required stakeholders to establish scope of work;
  • Create schedule A for engineering scope; and
  • Organize walk-down as required.
Skills and Experience
  • Professional Engineer or eligible for registration as a P.Eng. with APEGA;
  • Previous upgrader, utilities and oil sands experience;
  • Interpersonal and teamwork skills necessary to build relationships;
  • Excellent verbal communication and technical writing ability;
  • Strong analytical skills, proven organization ability and attention to detail;
  • Must be proactive, flexible and deadline focused;
  • Proficient with MS Office software and various engineering software programs; and
  • Current safety training certificates such as WHMIS 2015, Standard First Aid and H2S Alive.
